So I won't be posting about my Valentine's mantel or pretty crafts, because I don't have any. To be honest, I don't have a decorated mantel at all right now. Once I finished painting the fireplace, I dropped the living room makeover and moved on to the laundry room (chalk it up to design ADD).
Since I don't have any pretty Valentine's decorations, I thought I'd show you a few of my favorite Valentine's pins.
A beautiful mantel from Beth at Stories of A2Z.
Love Scrabble letters.
Um, hello?? Doesn't get much easier than this!
This would easy to make, don't you think?
I love paper anything.
Aren't these beautiful?
Thinking I may sign up to bring the kids snack on Valentines Day!
Valentine's bacon. Wha?
Let's not forget the printable I offered last year:
Once I started pinning Valentine's ideas, it really made me want to decorating!

I love Valentines Day but I've never knocked myself out to decorate. I always wanted my children (and everyone) to love each other all the time and to give sweet cards and little treats anytime during the year. I have collected hearts over the years and red is one of my favorite colors, some years I just walk through the house collecting my hearts and red stuff and put it all together, add a bowl of chocolate kisses, and TA DA it's Valentines Day. It's more like herding than decorating.
ReplyDeleteI have a few little Valentine's Day decor items but this year I just don't have the time to look for them, put them out and put them away. I've been married forever so Valentine's Day is just another day of the week to me. lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't decorate either, but since JD is in school this year I will be making little gift bags for his classmates! Super cute pins and I love your design ADD, it's inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the energy to go all out for Valentine's day but I don't so there are just a few things here and there. I don't think I will get too crafty this year but who knows we still have a few weeks to go ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, I decorate for Valentine's and I use stuff from the Dollar Tree store :)

The paint chip Valentine bookmarks are just so awesome, and they would be so easy for children to do! Thanks for sharing this idea!
