We're kicking of this month long series with a fabulous beginner blogger feature! Meet Kirstin from Burlap and Buttons...
If you like what you see, PIN IT! Just please visit Kirstin's blog, say hello, and pin from there. Thank you!

I have been married to my incredible husband, Tyler for four years. We have had a whirlwind of a life, moving over seven times in three years. I have learned the true meaning of "home" truly lies with those you love and not where you live.
We have been blessed with a beautiful daughter who is almost two years old. We desire to be a family who loves and serves the Lord in all we do. I have recently discovered a love for thrifting, DIY projects and all things in need of restoration.
I grew up surrounded by the faces of my family from years ago and antiques passed down for generations. I love the heritage of my family and know I am deeply rooted in faith and love as I look around at these "old" things passed down. My favorite pieces are ones I have "inherited" and made my own with a new coat of paint or re-design.
I recently decided to start sharing this love with others in hopes it will inspire and allow you to see things in a new way or pick up a paint brush and DIY. Everything is better with a story to go with it, so up-cycle that lamp from your grandma, reupholster that chair from your Mom's attic, and turn that trunk into a coffee table. Can't wait to hear your stories!
What Kirstin didn't mention is that she also has an Etsy Shop! Check out some of these goodies...

Be sure to stop by Burlap and Buttons (love that name) and say hello and check out even more of fabulous vintage inspired projects. Thanks Kirstin!
