I have a confession to make.
I don't decorate my front porch.
There, I said it.
It's not very big, and the ugly black metal screen door isn't exactly eye candy.
But after bringing home a few pretty Cinderella pumpkins I decided it was time to step it up.
{The beautiful piano bench was about to be thrown out at my work so of course I immediately claimed it. I like it just the way it is, but I'm not making any promises that it will stay that way!}
So anyway, then my design ADD came out and I couldn't decide what I wanted.
Recognize that branch? It's the rest of the huge branch I picked up on the side of the road, which I showed you in my fall dining room post.
So I tried out three different styles but I can't decide which I like best.
So I thought I'd leave it up to you my friends!

I like # 1, I love flowers on porches. I am curious as to how it would look with the stool included in #1. I'm probably no help at all because I love the stool and the flowers. They all look good so you can't go wrong with any of them!
ReplyDeleteI'd say #1 too although I really like the throw added in the last pic. They all look fabulous though!
ReplyDeleteCould you put the flowers on the stool seat? The stool looks great, but I agree with Ellen, a porch needs flowers! Not much help at all really, sorry!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Number 3!
ReplyDeleteIt looks stylish and cosy at the same time and very inviting!
Well I for one can't stand the yellow flowers, they ruin the whole look of the otherwise very pretty and succeeded neutral fall vignette!
Sending you Happy Fall wishes from Germany
Carola
P.S.: Found you through your ingenous canning yar lid pumpkin on Pinterest
I'm with everyone else. I love the pop from the yellow mums, but I also love the throw and the stool. What about replacing the boots with the mums??
ReplyDeleteI like design #1 ... Love mms :)
ReplyDeleteI like #1, love the pop of color from the mums, in fact I'm buying some Friday for my front porch:)
ReplyDeleteGonna muddy the waters here-I really like # 3! The throw makes it look soooo inviting-take your boots off and stay awhile! The pop of color from the mums is pretty-but I think it overwhelms it. So--# 3 would be my pick! Blessings, Sharon
ReplyDeleteI love #3 :)
ReplyDeleteI vote for #1! I think it needs the color of the mums.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful!!! I think I favor #3 cause it makes me want to take my shoes off and curl up!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like #3, but the practical part of me worries about your blanket getting dirty being left outside. :) My second choice is #1. You can never go wrong with flowers. They all look great though!
ReplyDeletedefinitely number 3! the yellow flowers are throwing me off!
ReplyDeleteI really like #3. I love all the tone on tone colors. Pinning it.
ReplyDeleteThey all look so great but I think #3 looks the best.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #3--love the boots..of course I love the cinderella pumpkins, I also brought one home this year, now have to figure out how to keep it looking good.I told a farmer friend of mine that I would save the seeds for him....I also told him he HAd to plant white pumpkins next year.
ReplyDeleteI vote for a combination of 1 and 2. #3 is lovely but in my mind it would be better in the entry way. If I left a shawl and boots outside they would be ruined in no time by the heat, or dust, or some other form of weather.
ReplyDeleteI like #3, but maybe you could still work in the beautiful pot of mums along with it? They all look very autumnal and welcoming, though! Great job!!!
ReplyDelete3!! I love the boots and the blue. :) I live in an apartment so I don't really have a porch. The most decorative I get is hanging a new flag on my mini-garden flag stand...when I remember.
ReplyDelete#3, hands down.
ReplyDeleteI like porch #1, the yellow mums give it a great pop of color and add that warm touch of fall. I decorate my porch for all the holidays &
ReplyDeleteseasons. My porch has lots of burgundy mums and fall arrangements. Happy Fall.
I would love to see the mums on the stool and include the boots. I think they all look great, but I do love the stool and the boots and the mums and and and...
ReplyDeleteI like number 1 best but all are very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your choices, but think #1 is my favorite. The bright colored mums play off the pumpkins well and will do well outside. I have that exact grey throw from Target too. It is so nice! I use it in my family room all the time to cover up with when watching tv.
ReplyDeleteThey're all too cute- it's hard choose! I personally love #1 I think, the flowers add a pop of color with the cute tin can its in! Love them all, great inspiration for my own porch!! Thanks! :D
ReplyDeleteOr could you put the mums IN the boots, for #3?? Too much?? LOL! They're all so cute!
ReplyDelete#1 is the best. I like the flowers but unsure of that chair. Add the shawl to pic number 1. maybe bring another mum in the piture. I used an owl from the 2.50$ bin at target and it brought apunch of orange on my portch along with the pumpkins and mums I have.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Try removing black planter with branches and replace it with the mums, put the boots in front of them and put the Cinderella pumpkins on the stool.
ReplyDeleteI like #3 :) But, I think they are all beautiful. Megan
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #3, the boots and throw totally make it!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm...No. 1
ReplyDeleteComing to you from Inspiration Friday! You have some great items to decorate with! I love #1, because of the yellow mum. Great pop of color! But I love that stool too! I'm torn! ha! Maybe you could somehow use them both and put another flower or pumpkin on the stool! I do love the old door for the background! :)
ReplyDeletePS...Now following you!
ReplyDelete1 as color to the porch.
ReplyDeleteI love ALL of them! So hard to decide! I think I am leaning toward 3.... maybe?
ReplyDeleteHey I mentioned you and your blog at shaggysheephome.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHas to be number three for me!!!!
ReplyDeleteNumber 3 but incorporate the flowers somehow
ReplyDeleteStack the pumpkins on the urn surrounded by the branches and leave the mum in the bucket.
