Doesn’t this look positively scrumptious? I am so excited to share this super easy recipe for Cranberry Apple Cobbler in the slow cooker! It is so easy to make, and has just four ingredients!!! Top with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream or your favorite whipped topping and you have the perfect warm dessert for your Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday meals, or even just a special weeknight dessert for your family. Cranberry apple is my absolute favorite flavor combination for fall!!
My dad was a huge fan of fruit desserts. Well, my dad was a huge fan of dessert, period, but fruit desserts, especially cobbler, were among his favorites. A true “from scratch” cobbler requires cooking the fruit on the stove and baking it all in the oven. But what if you just want to dump it all in and go run your errands and come back to a delicious, warm dessert? Try this recipe and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
The best part is how easy it is to make – apple pie filling, dried cranberries, yellow cake mix, and a stick of butter.
Ok, I know you read that “stick of butter” and thought, “that’s a lot of butter!” And it sounds like it is, but when you figure that when you bake a cake you use almost that much oil, plus an egg, it doesn’t sound so bad!

What size crock pot for dump cake?
We had choir practice at our home last night. I made your cobbler. It was SO easy. I was worried it may not work for me. Everyone was impressed! It served a comfortable eight people. I am going to make this my to go dessert! Thank you so much. I am going to try the mashed potatoes next!
Blessings,
Carmen
So glad it worked for you! Thanks for coming back and sharing!! 🙂
This dessert looks delicious! Have you ever heard of DumpCake? Seems similar but easier with the crockpot. DumpCake is cherries, yellow cake mix, butter, pineapple, brown sugar. I cannot wait to make your recipe. Thank you.
