4Large lettuce leaves
Lemon Dill Mayo
1tablespoonLemon juice
1teaspoonLemon zest
3tablespoonsMayonnaise
1/2teaspoonDried dillor 1 teaspoon fresh
PinchSalt
PinchBlack pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill and salt and pepper.
Toast the bread until it’s golden brown. Spread the lemon dill mayo evenly on each slice of bread.
Assemble the sandwiches: Toasted bread with mayo, tomato, lettuce, and bacon. Top with another slice of toasted bread. Secure with toothpicks, slice in half with a sharp knife and serve immediately.
Notes
Make these your own with toppings! I like to add in creamy avocado slices.
