With summer winding down and the cool fall air about to sneak up on us…well you maybe. WE don’t get cool fall air until around November. Anyway, despite the fall heat wave we usually get in Southern California, pumpkins are a staple of fall and along with it, Pumpkin recipes – pumpkin bread, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin cookies, the list goes on and on. I have a killer recipe for pumpkin cookies that I plan to share with you as soon as my kitchen is put back together!

    AHHH – This is perfect! I let a big “watermelon” vine overrun my garden this year & just recently (when the watermelons turned orange) figured out they were pumpkins. What do I do with pumpkins in August? Cook ’em! Thanks, Kristin.
