If you have someone on your Christmas gift list who loves to bake, they are sure to appreciate this adorable Christmas Cookie Cutter Gift. The free printables are actually popular Christmas cookie recipes that you can attach to your gift! Plus there are 8×10 versions available so you can hang them in your own kitchen!

A few weeks ago I shared my Ultimate Gift Guide for Bakers that had some of my favorite gift ideas, and today I’ve got a thoughtful gift idea that you can put together yourself for very little cost.
Here’s what you need to put this gift together (this is just a guideline, go with whatever you have on hand or easily accessible):
- A glass or plastic mason-type jar (I used this one from IKEA). Or you could even use a cellophane or other type of gift bag.
- Cookie Cutters (plastic or metal, and as many as you like)
- Printable recipe tag. You can download the colorful recipe card I shared last week and write your own favorite recipe, or use the cookie recipes that you can download at the end of this post.

Fill the jar or bag with the cookie cutters.

Attach the downloadable recipe card to the jar with ribbon or twine. Be sure to attach a pretty gift tag and sign your name!

Depending on where you purchase them (and how many you want to include), the cookie cutters will run you anywhere from a few dollars, to $15. This set on Amazon is under $7. This would be an adorable gift for friends, neighbors, or even colleagues!
Or you could always just frame the chalkboard recipe signs and display them in your kitchen! They add a little touch of whimsy, and aren’t just for Christmas!

You can download the full set that contains both signs in 8×10 and 4×5 (gift tag) sizes. I suggest printing on cardstock for best results. The sign could even be blown up to a 16×20 size and framed, too (printed at Office Depot for under $5!)

Hello!
Thank you for all of the cute and fun ideas for gifts! I am having a hard time finding the link for the Sugar and Gingerbread cookie tags to go around the mason jars. Do you have that link?
Thank you!
Hi Hailey, there’s been some major glitches with Google shared printables. Thanks for letting me know that this one wasn’t working. I recreated the pdf and it should work now. Please give it a try.
Such a sweet idea! Thank you so much!
Where have you been all of my life?! From one Christmas lover to another, I say many thanks!! I am especially excited to print and frame the scriptures!!!
the sugar cookie recipe has a typo. The list of ingredients states baking powder but in the mixing directions it says baking soda. Just thought I’d let you know;)
Well gosh two people proofread it for me and all three of us missed that! Thanks for letting me know!!
Super cute!! Love the printable!! Thanks for the great idea 🙂
Hi Kristin! What font did you use for the cookie recipe chalkboard sign? I LOVE it!
The script one I mean 🙂
Where do I download the set? Your click here graphic does not contain a link that I can find.
Sorry about that! It should be fixed now.
Darling graphics, thank you for the printables! Such a quick, fun gift to give.
