I love creating and designing, but sometimes you just don’t want to mess with a good thing…which is why I created a new printable with kinda the same idea as one of my previous (and most popular) printables, with an updated chalky twist. Don’t worry, it’s also available in two other color combinations.

When I surveyed on Facebook, one of the songs that popped up as a favorite was “O Come All Ye Faithful.” It’s a favorite of mine too, and I was humming it for the rest of the day. I knew that was the one I had to go with. So, Celeste, this is for you!

This beloved hymn is a beautiful announcement of the birth of Christ.

Sing, choirs of angels
Sing in exultation
Oh, come, oh come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of Angels
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

O Come All Ye Faithful is a beautiful Christmas hymn that has been attributed to many writers but was originally written by John Francis Wade in Latin (Adeste Fideles) in the 1700s. However, the English version of the O Come All Ye Faithful lyrics that we know and love today was translated by an English Catholic priest in 1841.

  1. Print them out on 8 ½ x 11-inch cardstock. Trim to fit an 8×10-inch frame and hang on your wall or stand up on table for display.
  2. Reduce size to fit on half a page, print on cardstock and fold in half to create DIY Christmas cards.
  3. Print several to a page, cut out to use as Christmas tags. Just punch a hole at the top and loop a ribbon through to attach to gifts.

  2. Thank you Kristin. All of the colored downloads work now. So excited to make a beautiful gift for each of my three daughters.

  3. Just wanted to say I LOVE your blog! I made a 5×7 of your original Christmas tree art print years ago, however, now that they are in PDF, I can’t seem to print in a 5×7 version – just wondering if you can give me a tip on how to print that size or if you can send the chalkboard copy of this printable to me in a different format?
Thank you so much! And looking forward to your future posts!!

  4. Thank you Kristin; I’ve no money for gifts this year, and sadly am looking for the right presents for a recent widow, and another friend who is about to become a widow. 🙁 Framed words of scripture in your pretty seasonal designs are a great option! I appreciate it.

  5. Hi Kristin,

I wonder if you have a larger size of your printables? I’d love to print them 16X20 to put in frames above my mantle!! They are just beautiful!

    Thanks for considering it!

  6. Hi Kristin,
I absolutely LOVE this chalkboard print! Thank you for sharing it.

I would love to use this for a party backdrop and have it printed at an office store as an engineering print/poster size. Is there any way you could email me a file in a resolution that would support such a large print?

  7. Just found your site from Pinterest. You have beautiful printables, thank you! This one I cannot download from Scribd because you have to pay for access 🙁

  8. Did you print this at home? It’s not a jpg file, so I’m assuming you don’t get a print made? Thanks for your help!

    1. Just click on the link that says “Download Chalkboard printable” and in the new window that comes up, click on “Download and Print.” It’s the orange bar on the right of the screen.

  9. This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing! I plan to hang it on my wall at work Fortunately, I work for a Catholic non-profit, so religious Christmas decorations are encouraged! Have a wonderful Christmas!
