Ingredients

  • Sour cream – Full fat for an ultra creamy dip.
  • Cheddar cheese – Freshly grated off the block.
  • Ranch dip mix – A pack of dry mix, or 2 tablespoons from a larger package.
  • Bacon – Cook crispy and crumbled up. Drain as much grease as possible to keep the dip from being greasy.
  • Green onions – Mostly just for garnish, but you can toss some in the dip, too.

How to Make Cheddar Bacon Ranch Dip

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl until completely mixed and smooth.
  • Cover and chill until ready to serve.
  • Pour into a serving bowl and top with a little crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar and sliced green onions.

Serving Suggestions

Perfect with veggies, chips, crackers, bagel chips, breadsticks. It’s an excellent potato chip dip.

Other ideas include topping baked potatoes or stirring into mashed potatoes.

Storage

Transfer the dip to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Give it a good stir before serving.

  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Ranch dip mix
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 Green onion thinly sliced, for garnish
  • Chips, crackers or veggies for dipping

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and ranch mix together until well blended. Fold in shredded cheddar and crumbled bacon. Refrigerate for one hour before serving with veggies, chips or crackers.
